Microdul's ultra-low power temperature sensors are ideally suited for IoT and energy harvesting applications. Our semiconductor group develops and supplies customized ultra-low power products tailored to your needs. Temperature monitoring, capacitive switches and sensors, power management and crystal oscillators all benefit from our extensive experience. We partner with you in the development of sophisticated, customized, integrated circuits.

Ultra-low Power Temperature Sensors

Ideal for autonomous applications

The MS1088D has a battery voltage monitoring function and is ideally suited for energy harvesting applications. The current consumption of our digital temperature sensors is 20nA in standby and on average only 80nA when measuring once per minute. The temperature sensor is available in a tiny chip scale (CSP) and QFN package. The chip scale package can be soldered like a normal SMD component.

Perfect for environmental monitoring

Our MS1089 digital temperature sensor is also a perfect candidate if you want to count on a long battery life and energy harvesting. With the goal of avoiding battery replacement. It requires only 4nA for standby and 27nA on average, with one measurement per minute. The sensor is equipped with an I²C interface and also provides a handshake mechanism, to save additional power and optimize the timing of the measurement sequence. As a fully integrated, tested and calibrated digital temperature sensor, the MS1089 features a typical measurement accuracy of ±0.3°C between 10 and 60°C.
